What Houston Roofing Pro is

Houston Roofing Pro is a phone line and this website. It is not a roofing company. Nobody here climbs on roofs, sells shingles or writes estimates. The job of the line is narrower and, when a storm has just come through, more useful than it sounds: to make sure your call is answered and that you end up talking to a real, local roofing company instead of a string of voicemails and out-of-town crews.

The companies callers are put through to are independent, owner-run roofing businesses that work in the Houston area. They inspect the roof, quote the job, do the work and stand behind it. You hire them directly and you pay them directly.

What happens when you call 832-662-4107

1. The call is answered. An automated assistant picks up, any hour of the day. The same number also takes air conditioning and pressure washing calls, so its first question is which one you need.
2. You say what is going on. A leak, storm damage, missing shingles, a roof that is simply old. It will ask your part of town and how urgent it is.
3. You are transferred to a local roofing company, which hears a short summary before picking up so you do not have to start over.
4. If they cannot pick up, your name, number and what you need are taken down and passed along for a call back.

What the line will not do

• It will not quote a price. Roofs are priced on the roof, not over the phone.
• It will not tell you whether your insurance will pay. That is between you and your insurer, and Texas law bars roofers from acting as your public adjuster.
• It will not charge you. Houston Roofing Pro may be paid a referral fee by the companies it connects callers with; you never pay the line anything.
